Dreaming

Today, I'm in a dream-mode. And pregnancy hormones are going a little wacky. Gotta love them. haha

Pregnant women should:
- Get to eat ice cream whenever they want without any judgments
- Get a massage, foot rub, back tickle upon request
- Take a nap every day
- Be told how sexy/beautiful they are, especially near the end
- Not be expected to clean, though the nesting period is still okay.
- Get to have a couple unnecessary freak outs without question
- Be able to cry during a commercial, movie, show, song, book, blog, etc without having someone thinking they need to be committed
- Be spoiled a little more than usual
- Be able to sleep any way she can/wants *Dang forbidding belly AND back sleeping!
- Not have to deal with any additional unnecessary stress
- Have a very easy pregnancy so they can thoroughly enjoy it

If you can think of more OR I think of more, I will post them as an update. :) It was fun to come up with these. Now don't get me wrong. I am pretty spoiled during my pregnancy and I do LOVE being pregnant. There are just some things I wish all women who were pregnant got to have or experience during that time.

Halloween

Halloween was just last weekend and we had a pretty good time. A couple days prior we carved pumpkin with some of my family. We did a witch, spider, goofy guy and sticker pumpkin.
A couple days prior to Halloween, Jake and I did a "dress rehearsal" so we could also do pictures. Doing the make up wasn't that easy but once Jake saw it, he LOVED it. He thought he was hot stuff (which of course he is.)
By Halloween he was so ready to play the character. He had his hands up and growled. So cute!

Then it was off to trick or treat. I have to admit tears were in my eyes as he and dad headed out.
They went around our neighborhood (about 15 house), then went to a couple family houses. We were planning on going more but Jake was finished. He had a good time the rest of the night though and REALLY enjoys the candy he got. Wonder where he got his sweet tooth from?! ;)

Whose 2??

My baby is 2! At the end of Sept. Jake turned 2. Yes, it was over a month ago and I'm just now posting but hey! I'm doing it. Anyway, for his actual birthday we were in Vegas, but the weekend before we left, we had a bbq at a park to celebrate.
My mom, step dad, brother, sister in law, niece, sister and her boyfriend all joined us. We played some games and a couple of people fished. Jimmy and I bought Jake a basketball hoop for his birthday that we took to the park. Jake LOVES it. He even made the very first shot. We fed some ducks, played frisbee and a beanbag game.

Then we ate and Jake opened his gifts. (Not going to post them all) haha

Before we left, we enjoyed some cupcakes. Jake really loved his. HAHA

Then we were Vegas bound. On Jake's actual birthday, we spent the morning at the pool and again in the afternoon once Jimmy got off. (He had to work the whole week.)

That evening, we went to Mini Grand Prix where they have go-carts, a giant slide and video games. Unfortunately, I only got one decent picture of the evening. haha. But Jake had a blast! So much so that he fell asleep before getting home for cake and presents.
So the next night we did gifts from Jimmy and I and ate cupcakes again.

There are so many things Jake can do and milestones he has accomplished. He's such a great boy, though the saying "terrible twos" isn't a lie! He does have an attitude. HAHA We are still so proud of him and love him so much!
