Carnivals galore

For Labor Day, Jake and I went to Parowan for the carnival. We were able to see my grandparents and dad. I didn't get many pictures but we did have fun. Jake and I rode the Ferris wheel and took a ride down the big slide. We also went to the rodeo and the parade.

A couple weeks later, there was the Salt Lake Fair. Jimmy, Jake and I went with my mom, step dad, sister, her boyfriend, brother and niece. It was so much fun! And huge! I was able to get pictures there. Jake rode a couple of things and had a blast!

Merry-go-round!!!

The big slide (one of his favorites!!)

The helicopter... Hilarious how Jimmy squeezed in there!

Then my little cowboy!

There were also a ton of animals we looked at, some yummy food and a great place to people watch. HAHA We can't wait to go again next year.

It's a...

So I just realized I never posted about Bean and the sex. We went to the doctor in mid-September and were happy to hear Bean is...
Yep! A girl! We have picked a name but I don't want to throw it out there right now on blogger just in case.
We took Jake to the appt and he was able to hear her heart. He thinks its the coolest thing ever! He brings it up all the time. I think he's pretty excited to be a big brother.
So we are all pretty happy here. We have a very healthy little girl on the way. She's growing good and is kicking like a machine! Love it!

First Utah House

Our first "home" in Utah was a long stay hotel room. It was about 500 sq. feet of heaven. Okay, NOT heaven. It was a queen bed and straight across was a pull out couch. So pretty much every night, the foot of our bed touched the foot of Jake's bed (the pull out). Just imagine it, 2 adults, a toddler and a dog in 500 sq. feet. Not the greatest but it did us good for the month.

This is the room from the door. Jake had to be right in the picture. You can see the couch and part of the desk on the left. And the little wall thing there on the right is the cut off from the kitchen.

This is the angle from the back corner behind the couch. You can see the front door and bathroom door and kitchen. The corner of the bed is right on the left also beneath the TV. Jake also had to get into every shot. HAHA

Here's the bed and kitchen angle from the couch (And Tori on TV!)
And finally, the kitchen. It was tiny but did good for the month. I didn't take any bathroom shots, though it was fairly large.

So there ya have it. That's where we were for the first month. It was quite the experience. Fun but wouldn't want to repeat it.

Quick update!

Okay, so I completely understand its been almost (if not over) a month since I've last blogged. There have been so much going on with us Belangers in the last 2 months! Moving to a new state makes for a very busy life.

A couple upcoming blogs will be about our first "home" in Utah, our new house, carnivals, Vegas trips, Jake turning 2 and probably one or two other things.

There will be a lot of information coming, so be prepared! haha I'm hoping to get at least one or two more blogs done tonight but cannot guarentee anything as I'm tired and currently in the middle of watching the baseball game (Go Rangers! Yay for Nolan Ryan ::wink::).

So stay tuned. Because if I don't do it tonight, this weekend, I will for sure get off my bum and post some stuff. Pictures are necessary! :)
