Easter Bunny came to town

This is becoming quite typical of me lately huh? Post well for a couple weeks then **BAM** I'm gone. So sorry! I am going to try to keep on top of things but life has been a little insane. SO I have posted some updates following this blog also! Woo.

Anyway, I cannot believe it is already April! And Easter none the less. We have been lucky enough to celebrate it with many different people in our family. Last Friday, my dad and step mom came into town. We went out to lunch and they brought Jake an Easter gift. So sweet!

And last Sunday, we had a bbq with Jimmy's family where we did some Easter gift exchanges for the boys. Also, this past Friday, my grandparents came into town and we were able to visit with them and Jake again got a little Easter present. We were also able to get together with Jake's friends (and mine) Jake, Emily and Jennifer, Andrea and Baileigh and have a little playdate with lunch and an Easter exchange.

This Saturday, we had some more visitors! My mom, step dad and sister came to have Easter with us! That night, Justin, Stephanie and Jayden came over and we colored some Easter eggs.

While trying to get Jake to put in one of his eggs, he decided to chuck the poor egg across the floor. Good thing it was boiled! We did still color that egg and it is actually the egg he is holding in this pic... and is also the reason for my facial expression.

Stephanie made all her eggs in to animals! Look how creative! I love them. The bee in the back right corner is my favorite!

Easter morning, after my WW meeting (which by the way I'm down 18.2 pounds woo!) we opened baskets. The Easter Bunny got Jake a fishing pole, swim trunks, sports balls (which are his favorite), candy and some other nick-knacks.

The Easter Bunny spoiled daddy and pat-pat too!

I helped Jake go through all his fun stuff! He got even more goodies from Granny, Gramps and Aunt Maddie too!

Then it was time for the Easter Egg hunt. He did such a great job looking and putting his eggs in the basket.

I helped him go through the baskets as Patches tried to get a photo-op!

Easter dinner and games then took progress. It was such a fun day and very relaxed. I still cannot believe how spoiled my lil man is! He is loved by so many people! Such a lucky kid.
And we hope you all had a great holiday spent with loved ones.
Until next time, have a great one!
